Screen printing is normally the preferred option if a large design is required on garments such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, back of rugby shirts, etc. Screen printing works best on cotton or poly/cotton fabrics.
It is not normally recommended for coated fabrics such as used in waterproof jackets etc.
The first step in screen printing is to prepare good artwork of your design. The quality of the finished job is entirely dependant on the quality of the original artwork.
We use Illustrator and Photoshop; we would like to receive artwork in colour separated EPS files, fonts must be converted to curves. All MAC artwork must be saved to a PC format. Please advise pantone colours if possible.

A separate silk screen is required for each colour in your design. Each screen costs £25 (ex vat) to prepare and is held for 3 months after the job has been printed. (This is due to the difficulty of storing the large screens) This price applies for printing onto white garments. If your garment is coloured we will need to print your design in white first so that it is shown in its true colours. This will require an extra screen, but at a reduced setup cost of £15. We do not charge a repeat origination charge if a job is repeated within the 3 months.
The cost of screen printing is dictated by the number of colours in the design, and the quantities required in any one run.
The following price adjustments assume you wish to use printing rather than embroidery (which is already included in the clothing prices) and that we are printing onto white garments.
